InterPendle Debating Competition

Good luck to the pupils competing in the InterPendle Debating Competition at Pendle Vale College on Wednesday 9th May. Miss King will be there to cheer you all on!

Notes from the Head

  • The current timetable for Year 11 pupils will be suspended on Wednesday 23 May. After this date a new, more personalised timetable will be introduced which will include examinations, revision sessions and some of the normal timetabled lessons.  All pupils must ensure that they look carefully at the new arrangements and attend the relevant sessions.  An updated examination timetable is on this website so please check for your particular exams and speak to Mrs Bannister if you have any queries about the arrangements.  Make sure you are doing plenty of revision at home !! #
  • The school is looking forward to planning for its conversion to academy status.   Michael Gove (Secretary of State for Education) gave his permission for this during the Easter holidays and the consultation process will begin soon.  We want to find out what people want from the academy so we will be asking pupils, parents, staff, governors and the local community for their views.  If you have any questions or comments about the plans please contact Mrs Walsh at school. #
  • CPHS took part in the BBC News School Report on Thursday 15th March.  Visit our web page to see how we did.   Maybe you could even leave us a comment. #
